About Bead Nash

It all started when we brought friendship bracelets and beading supplies to a screening of a Heated Rivalry episode at a lesbian sports bar in Nashville. We were giving out free bracelets and taking custom requests, and a woman at the table next to us leaned over and said, "Y'all should make an Instagram!" And thus, Bead Nash was born! Run by three queer women in Nashville, Bead Nash strives to foster joy and connection by creating cute and fun items, selling them, and donating the proceeds to nonprofits doing important work. Since our inception in March of 2026, Bead Nash has donated over $4,000 across the Trevor Project, Launch Pad Nashville, the Oregon Safer Workers Coalition, Nashville Roller Derby, Strippers are Workers Washington, Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and Northern Mississippi, Comfort Cases, and Trans Aid Nashville. Nope! We've worked hard to calculate costs and labor for all of our products, and we're making sure to set aside enough money for taxes, but we donate the rest to nonprofits.

We decided as a group when we started Bead Nash that we weren't interested in doing this for the money. We all have full-time jobs and busy lives, and making these products and giving back to our communities brings us so much joy. We're able to cover our costs and pay our taxes and that's enough for us ♥️

We do, but shipping rates outside the U.S. can be very expensive, so it's up to you whether you want to pay the shipping fee!

Yes! Free local pickup and/or delivery can be arranged for customers within 20 miles of Nashville proper. Use the discount code "LOCALPICKUP" at checkout to remove the shipping fee, then email bead.nashville@gmail.com or text 615-208-5417 so we can coordinate pickup or delivery. We have a shelf at Slow Burn Bookshop in East Nashville, and we'll have items available at Harper's Bookstore in Lebanon, TN soon.
